We are seeking to recruit a part-time qualified and experienced Engineer Surveyor to carry out statutory examinations of general lifting plant and pressure systems across the country, mainly in the north-east. Lifting plant includes accessories such as slings, chains as well as vehicle lifts etc. Ability to examine passenger and goods lifts is desirable, as is ability to examine local exhaust ventilation (LEV). This is a part-time role either two or three days each week. It would also suit applicants who are self-employed but looking for extra regular work.

Our Head Office is in Kent but there is no need to attend as the person will be based at home and the job will involve travel to clients with some overnight stays. Much of the work is likely to be north-east of England but clients are all over the country. A contribution towards a company vehicle is available if required.
